I was bored earlier today, so I hopped on my druid and went to the holgresh cave in Wakening Land. After doing my part in the effort to eradicate holgresh, I noticed that every spell scroll they dropped now has the "This item can be used in tradeskills." tag. After checking some spells in the bazaar, I see that a LOT of spells now carry this tag. Among them: Chilling Embrace, Improved Invis, Monster Summoning II, Boon of the Garou, and Translocate.
At first glance, the tag seems to have been added to scrolls that:
1) Are useable only by INT casters;
2) Are useable at or below level 50 for at least one class;
3) Do not teleport across zone boundaries; and
4) Are dropped by mobs.
The only spell I could find in the bazaar that violated these rules is Atol's Spectral Shackles (wiz/51).
So, does anyone know why these scrolls are tagged for tradeskills?
