Finally ding 300 on 31 may (londo, luclin server). 175 combines to get from 298 to 299, then 300 just 4 clicks later.

Dinged 300 on my enchanter, Eldi. After stockpiling stacks of components to make the final run from 298 to 300, I hit 300 after 5 combines.

Useless factiods:
8 months to progress from skill 219 to 300
Sold over 1400 spells in the bazaar for over 8,000,000pp
Best sellers: 1) Night Fire, 2) Protection of the Nine, 3) Summer's Flame

Hit 300 smithing and research on the same day, just need to max out trophies now.

Grats all and ding 300 on my tinkerbot Yisla. A rough count makes it 14.5 attempts per skill-up from 200-300 with 255 int and no aa's - much better than tailoring!
Now all I have left is make poison but alas no rogue - to roll or not to roll?, that is the question.
