  • Blood of Saryrn?

I had a request to make all the 65 Shaman spells for a friend and I am having trouble with Blood of Saryrn. Is this spell researchable (i.e. not an LDoN or otherwise quested spell)?

I have tried the following combines and all are DNC:

(I was thinking this first one would be correct based on the correct recipe for Necro - Blood of Thule in the database.)

    Quill of the Prophet
    Saryrn's Ink Additive
    Extending Thickener
    Runic Parchment
    Ink of Pain

    Quill of the Prophet
    Saryrn's Ink Additive
    Extending Thickener
    Runic Parchment
    Ink of Saryrn

    Quill of the Prophet
    Saryrn's Ink Additive
    Extending Thickener
    Runic Parchment
    Ink of Saryrn

Has anyone had luck with this one or know what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks.

I would recommend using both Ink of Saryn (+poison counter) and Ink of Pain (damage). So recipie would look like

    1 Runic Parchment (lvl 65)
1 Quill of the Prophet (SHM)
1 Extending Thickener (Single target DoT)
1 Saryn's Ink additive (Poison Resist)
1 Ink of Saryn (+ disease counter)
    1 Ink of Pain (Damage)

No, I haven't had time to try it yet. But will be attempting tonight.

The recipe above was DNC, not sure what else to change. Tried using 2x ink of pain, 2x ink of saryrn. The spell is a dot, poison resist, increases poison counter by 9, seems like it should be correct.

Oops, third one that I pasted should have also had Ink of Pain along with Ink of Saryrn and was DNC.

Looking at the Lucy data, it shows BoS has a 'pushback' of .5. I wonder if this has any bearing on the recipie? Will be looking for spells that do have a knockback to see if that affects their recipies. Stilll not sure if this is the reason we're DNC.

            That is a great thought.

Still baffling me. I checked the vendor books for inks that dealt with 'knockback' but found nothing. Tried adding ink of marr (as most stuns have some knockback) with all the combinations we've previously listed and still DNC.
