    Vial of Pure Water
    Oil of Vitrol
    Aqua Fortis
    Vial of Muriatic Acid
    Celestial Cleanser
    Aqua Regia

Any reason why they all have to look exactly the same? Any way to make use to the millions of available colors so we can better keep track of what's what?

I stopped noticing the names and just started looking at the green and red colors on the UI a long time ago.

There are several icons already created for other items, like Celestial Essence, Celestial Temper, and many of the other tempers, that could be used to help differentiate between the several components in DoDH spell research. It would sure make it easier to tell at a glance what you were short of

          well yes...

but is that the actual color of the stuff?

Almost all of that stuff is actually clear.

That is why you do not put your drink in a beaker... becasue you may drink acid instead of water.

I thought Ogres liked acid with all their meals? Better to digest all those bones.

Oil of Vitrol is a real item?

These solutions are just the alchemical names for real items.
                  Oil of Vitriol=Sulphuric acid
Muriatic acid (created by adding salt to oil of vitriol)=Hydrochloric acid
Aqua Fortis (created by adding saltpeter to oil of vitriol)=Nitric acid
Aqua Regia (term still used today) is Hydrochloric acid mixed with Nitric acid
And yes, they are all clear, colorless solutions.

The next time I see a Troll Alchemist working with these in RL, I'll make sure to verify the colors with him/her

Then let's pretend I put labels on them. Big, colored, removable, reusable, magically delicious labels to mark what's in each vial. Besides, what's there looks more like I filled each vial with old bath water anyway, not colorless liquids~

I made one stack of each of the 33 inks just so that I can enjoy looking at 3 bags of colorful vials. Inventory colors had never made me this happy since LoY ribbons.
