Scrindite's Mechanoinstruction Manual, consumed or no?

Title says it all really, is the Scrindite's Mechanoinstruction Manual consumed on combine. I posted the same question in general but for some reason I cannot see my own post there...

The current listed recipies with Scrindite's Mechanoinstruction Manual in them do not say that the book is returned, which I hope is just an oversight in the submissions and not in fact what happens.

Can anybody confirm/deny this? I know more than a few have been made so far...

Can you confirm that it is not consumed on all of the combines?

Alternately, could you list the combines for which you know for sure it's returned? Also, is it returned on both success and fail?

I've only made four so far. But the Holepoker is only used for the mechanoinstructions. I believe it's safe to assume this item will always be returned. It's the only portion of the combine that is the result of a quest.

If you think it's needed, I'll list the ones I've successfully made. I haven't failed one yet.

That would be most helpful. We only update the info in the database when players report results; normally, we don't "assume" that an item is returned on success or fail.

It's returned on success of all instructions. I've done all but the Pet Focus which isn't used anyway.

I've failed two. Returned on both of those.

So what about Scrindite's Senescent Scribbles? I assume this one really is consumed on success since it is droppable, which would make getting holepokers much easier, but what about on failure?

if it is ever consumed, be sure to let me know... as that would be an error It is certainly not INTENDED to be consumed in any step. ONLY the AAAA in all of this (of the valuable things) is to be consumed.

Yea, but I should have noted them that we needed that information. That's my bad. However, given that we have confirmation from Ngreth I'll take that as a definite. I've updated them.

It is not consumed on success (and thank god when its eventually used in a 400+ trivial combine). I haven't failed so couldn't say for sure there.

Made augment tonight with bazu aug base for alacrity of the aneuk for cultural cap and it didn't consume the manual.
