Bixie Wings and Large Snake Rattles - LOC

Help!

I am trying to get the Bixie Wings and the Large Snake Rattles and have had very little success:-( i am only finding a few Bixies and only a few of those have the wings. the same thing with the Large Snake Rattles, poor return for finding and killing them. I have looked on vendors and in the Bazaar with no success.

Any ideas?

Think there are bixies in Misty Thicket. I'm pretty sure the little buggers attack me every time I'm in that zone.

Try vendor mining in kelethin, misty thicket, commons, ro and anywhere else people may have been selling these (newbie areas).
I vendor mined nearly all my practise rune ingredients apart from the lightstones which are no drop. (I would also start mining runes words and pages if you havent already as research is still a PITA to raise).

A druid friend of mine was saying that he went to E.Karana to farm Spider Silks and Giant Snake Rattles from the bullnose and Chasm Crawlers. I have not checked this out myself, but I am going to try tonight.
