hello nerf... as expected, with the latest patch, the parchments drop rate was drasticaly decreased
or was it the RNG that hates me?

in 3 hours farming spiders in stonefall root, i got 0 smudged runic parchments, while before i would get 1-2 per hour

also there are only 2 idiots in the bazaar trying to sell smudged runic parchment for 20k each. sulfur is 200-600, and saltpeter 50-1000


as it is, the high research was good idea, but bad realisation

LOL Ngreth, people cry nerf at the drop of a hat, it's just the way people think. Some random bad luck and a drop rate was changed. I see it all the time on the paladin forums too. Someone pops holy forge recently, gets one slay in 3 minutes and it was nerfed again. Someone posts right after of 20+.

I failed 3 straight charm combines before getting the 4 one right with a modded skill of 280. Trivial was 304. Is that right or is that wrong? Neither, it's the RNG when Bristlebane gets his hands on it :P

Oddly, 20k parchments, 500+pp a sulfur/saltpeter with the right research skill = $$$ profit anyways, though I see there is no difference in the number of runics that are flooding the market on a daily basis right now. If you didn't get one in 1-2 hours of farming, that sucks, but then again it is the NORM to get bit by the RNG occassionally.

I figured he was implying he touched the drop rate on Large Corathus Fungus and that they went from Not Dropping to Dropping.

but seams like you completely tumbled runic parchment drop as i said i got 2 non-runic parchments in 3-4 hours killing spiders in stoneroot falls, but also got 2 runic+2fine velum killing werewolves in 2 hours!

They are on different drop tables... and I did not touch the tables that drops the parchments

The parchment rates may not have been intentionally nerfed but there is definitely something wrong.

I was farming runics in Stoneroot from spiders at the rate of 1 to 2 per hour. When I did missions in spell arcs I generally got 1 or 2 or sometimes 4.

In 12 hours of farming this weekend in my normal spots not one dropped.

Additionally, this weekend I did all of 69 spell arc and all of 70. Constant killing in 10 missions for 2 days - Runic Parchment count ZERO.

Something is amiss.

Parchments seem to be dropping fine to me, did two lvl 70 DoD spell progression quests over the weekend (Missions 2 and 3). Got 3 runics and one fine velium.

Got about 20 or so parchments off spiders in Stoneroot last night in about 2 hours so....I wouldnt call it nerfed.
