  • Infusion of Spirit?

I was trying the Shaman (49) Beast (61) spell: Infusion of Spirit but neither of these worked. Any suggestions or think that it's not researchable since old-world?

    -----------
    Parchment (lvl 61 beast spell)
Quill of the Feral Lord (beast)
Ink Additive of the Nameless (no resists)
    Invigorating Thickener (single target stats)
Ink of the Nameless (multiple stats)
    ---------------
    Parchment (lvl 61 beast spell)
Quill of the Prophet (shaman get at lower lvl)
Ink Additive of the Nameless (no resists)
    Invigorating Thickener (single target stats)
Ink of the Nameless (multiple stats)

I'd say theres probably not a recipe for that. As far as I know, the only recipes are for PoP and GoD era spells. While it's a 61 beastlord spell, it's not from one of those eras. It's an old world spell that had beastlord 61 tacked onto it in PoP.

      IoS

It is researchable in its SHM variation. Have done so myself for my shm.

Actually Infusion is a Beast PoP spell that was given to shamans at a lower level. You could quest it through PoP Beast spell quest NPC.

yes, give her ethereal parchments. just got one yesterday, it sold immediately. and it was indeed introduced with PoP, for Beasties, and shamans just got added on, at an earlier level. i did not know it was researchable, i had been looking for a research recipe for shamans and have had no luck at all.

I doubt that IoS was reseachable for shaman. For a few reasons, but the most basic being that it is a sub 50 spell, so it wouldn't qualify for the LoY research. Its also a quest reward (parchments) not a dropped spell, so it fails that test too. And finally it was a PoP era spell, and not likely to have been made researchable in LoY 5 months later.
Of course 4 years later is another matter, and when they chose which spells would be researchable with the new recipes, it was likely overlooked since for someone not familiar with that spell, it does appear to be an old world spell that BST's got added to at 61. I would recomend /bugging this with a complete explanation in the hopes that it could be added to the new research where it belongs.
