Where's a good place for an Erudite necromancer to farm these? Butcherblock and Misty Thicket are 2 places I know, and they just don't seem too healthy right now at level 18 The other places I looked at, they just don't seem to drop much, such as Unrest.

Giant Scarab Eyes Drop Locations

While I was using this item for mid-level spell research, I found that players tended to sell them to vendors in Butcherblock sometimes, but more often the Desert of Ro vendors. (All parts: North, Oasis, and South) It doesn't help that they're only an uncommon drop item anyway.
