anyone tried Night Stalker?

yesterday i tried making necro spell Night Stalker. i used:

1) runic parchment - for being level 65 spell
2) quill of the arch lich
3) consuming thickener - lifetap
4) ink of pain
5) ink additive of bertoxxolous - by lucy, resist check is disease

and got DNC... anyone have any idea whats wrong?

i tried mixing with ink of tunare, got dnc
tried adding highsludge powder, dnc again

no i didnt. i used the ink additive for disease resist check, as thats what lucy said it is

This spell has many aspects. Takes alot of items to make.

Heal over time. Soothing thickener
Damage over time. Extending thickener
Hit Points. Ink of Tunare
Damage. Ink of Pain
Disease Resist. Bertoxxulous Ink Additive
Quill of the Arch Lich
Runic Parchment

That should do it.

Edit: If that doesn't work I would try the single consuming thickener.

only 1 thickener is used per recepe, and since this is a life drain, consuming thickener should be used

i tried extending, for dots, but got dnc

tried healing, but its dnc as well

it is probably missing ink

The sk spell Mental Horror had me stumped for a bit, because it doesn't use Ink of Pain even though it has a DD proc component; all the combine cared about was the final result, which was the recourse of Ink of Prexus. Using that same idea, Night Stalker could be:

Quill of the Arch Lich
Runic Parchment
Ink of Tunare
Bert's Ink Additive
Assuaging Thickener

There's always the possibility that it's simply not researchable. They did say that only some of the PoP and GoD spells will be researchable; tried making the PoP Imbue spells? I can't think of anything that will work.

No spells that have a quest to do them (all the Imbues do have a "quest")

True for imbue spells. However Night Stalker is a rune turn-in spell,if NIght Fire is researchable Night Stalker "should" be as well. Experamenting with runics is difficult,and I dont want to accidentaly make Nights Beckon.

Try that. It wouldn't be confused with Night's Beckon because that's Magic resist. This is Disease.

i tried making night backon with luclin ink additive, instead of bert additive, and got dnc

tried, consuming, and various combination, and all are dnc

I'm almost ready to break down and just beg Ngreth for the recipe. Or at least confirm if we can or can't make those two spells.
