A couple of DoD questions

Well, not strictly DoD, but I've been trying to find information and haven't found any definitive answers.

1) Are there any non-65 GoD spells that are now researchable? I didn't see any looking around, which would mean that the 61-64 parchments would sit around like ethereals or spectrals, or be used to skill up.

2) Is there anything that prevents a non-DoD researcher from doing the combines? The head researcher isn't expansion enabled yet. I've looked at most of the vendor things and they all seem to be tradable, but maybe I've missed something.

I saw in some thread a 63 someone did... but it is PoP and GoD spells and PoP is 61-65

nope. it is just more convienient to have DoD to do it. Without DoD you have to get someone to buy you a kit, and the supplies, and have to depend on the drop parts coming to you in some way, as the parchments seem to only drop on DoN.
