What remains Research-Only?

Since Kunark, more and more of the formerly Research spells have become available on vendors. Others have been available from vendors for other classes or in only certain cities since beta.

I am trying to compile lists here, for each researching class, of what spells actually remain Research(drop/quest)-Only.

I am specifically excluding the 50+ research spells, since I don't believe any of them have been made available on vendors thus far.

I have found a couple of the 50 + spells on vendors. I can not tell ya what ones. I did not keep track on what ones. (Necro here)

Nefertiti, some 50-60 spells are on vendors. These spells have pretty much always (since Kunark, or whatever expansion brought them to be) been on vendors, while other spells in that same level range had always been only available as mob drops. Then, with LoY, Sony added new recipes for Research, that were for the mob dropped spells 50-60. This was an alternative method for obtaining those rarer spells, rarer because of frequency of the mob popping and dropping that scroll.

As Loonipur suggests, at no point did they take 50+ drop only (now drop and researched only) spells and add them to vendors.

Well then I must have been lucky and found some research/drop only spells that were sold to vendors. I have gotten a few of them from vendors that were research/drop only.

Can anyone confirm that Devouring Darkness (59 necro) is definitely not vendor sold? I read on a necro forum that it is vendor sold and no one corrected that post. Yet I have not been able to find it on any vendor.

Check on Everquest Casters Realm. Thats a good place to check spell list out.

I do not believe it is vendor sold. Reports of spells that are now vendor sold are remarkably slow being collected (the list above was only just complied and yet GoD is a few expansions ago already), however I haven't seen any reports of Devouring Darkness on a vendor that are credible. It is researched and mob dropped.

As far as the list of 50+ spells sold in Abysmal Sea, AS is just a handy place to check (just as PoK Library is) for spells so you don't have to go running around all over the place scanning every vendor in existance.

In other words, every spell there (that I've noticed) is also sold somewhere else in the world. Sort of a "one stop shopping" place.

While not really research-only as they're also mob-dropped, many people will have to research these or pray for a raid to get them, or pay crazy amounts in the baz (prices have gotten better post merger):
