Receipes for research

Do you have to have a expansion to get the easy receipe button while doing research? Or do you get it with spell research? Also, does anyone know where the Words of the Spoken drop at?

I don't think you need an expansion to use the new UI. What might have happened is you have them turned off by default. I believe if you hold Ctrl when you right-click your tradeskill container, you can force the new UI to pop up.

Words of the Spoken would seem to drop off of level 15-ish mobs. You could probably get them eventually by killing stuff in the Karanas, or the Ro Deserts, or similar places.
