Breath of Karana not working

Tried a combine tonight for Breath of Karana - etched signet, and rune of alternation.

I do lots of research, so I'm not making any of the obvious mistakes, i.e. forgetting parchment etc.

56 mage, using arch magus grimoire on torvonnilous server

Anyone know the right recipe, or if its just not working?

Its been a long time since I was a young wizard actually doing any old research (like 3 years here so I could be talking crazy).

I am fairly certain that I recall there being 2 different runes of alternation that are distinguishable from each other only by their merchant selling price. The 2 types also don't stack with each other and are used in different recipes. For some reason, VI didn't see fit to grace them with an (azia) or (beza) tag like they did other duplicates.

So, you have the wrong rune... keep getting runes of alternation till you get one that doesn't stack with what you got and that should work.

Can someone update the recipe for Breath of Karana to show Words of Abrogation? I was wondering why I couldn't combine the items, it is missing on the recipe page.
