Research Trivial Logic?

I found these enchanter spell research trivials:

lvl 16: 26
lvl 20: 46
lvl 24: 71
lvl 29: 96
lvl 34: 122
lvl 39: 140
lvl 44: 166
lvl 49: 184

Could someone PLEASE explain the logic of making research for a level 24 spell trivial at 71 when your research skill at level 24 is capped at 45????????

Don't expect Logic to enter into any discussion with Developers and Game Designers.

They both have Logic... but they both use it in different ways. And rarely do they agree. Sometimes the Developers win... sometimes the Game Designers.

And don't believe that they are ever the same person. Those that say they are both are really multiple personalities.
