  • Levitation Spell "Lore" ?

    Hello all,

I have been focusing for a while on Druid spells and something very strange happened today, I planned on making 2 of the level 51 Druid spell "Levitation" , First creation went fine as usual, but on second combine I get a msg "Duplicate Lore Items not allowed" , no spell and poof there goes my components.

Since when has this spell been lore, I checked and no other lvl 50 to 60 Druid spells I have are lore, at the time I did this I also made 2 Druid lvl 58 spells "Fists of Karana" and they both worked fine.

I petitioned and submitted bug report, but I have little confidence that I will hear back from anyone or get my research components back.

Anyone else ever see this, would appreciate some input

    Thanks

It's been lore ever since Luclin was released. The dropped version of the spell is lore, thus, so is the researched one that produces the exact same scroll. Wierd, I know.

There are a few spells that are lore, so be SURE you check it when you make it so you don't lose any more components! Just made a copy of Moonfire last night for a guild druid, it's LORE too. Several of the spells i've made have been. Seems to be the more rare ones with the hardest to get components, of course.

I started checking LORE status way back when a guildmate made a Black Acrylia Halberd (WAY back when they were introduced), got excited and made another one! And got the duplicate LORE message. Now i always look to be sure. That's a very nasty surprise =(

I learned this the hard way, twice. Once with Levitation, once with Acumen of Dar. Hard lesson to learn, but I click every time now to check.

I learned this the hard way as well -- It was doubly annoying, since I had actually used DIFFERENT recipes (the one for druids and the one for enchanters) to make the spells, but the results were apparently identical and thus the second one vanished.
