Owlbear Claws

I am trying to start the Sonic Wolf Bane weapon quest, i need to find 2 owlbear claws to turn in with my cloak to get stretching dowel. Can anyone tell me where i can find owlbear claws? I can't find any mention of what kind of owlbear drops them on any of the EQ sites. Owlbear claw isn't even listed in quest items on any of the EQ sites. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Owlbear Claws can drop from any owlbear in Hollowshade Moor but I always found them to be most common on the cubs. With the changes to the zone recently cubs are pretty scarce now though.

They are an uncommon drop but shouldn't take you more than 20 kills to find one or two.

Thanks for your response, i will continue killing all the owlbears i can in HM till i find the claws. I swear i've killed more than 20 already, solo and with a friend, and not 1 claw has dropped yet. Thats why i was askin' which owlbears dropped them.

They are called tiny owlbear claws. They only drop from the 2 or 3 spawns of cubs/grapplers that spawn when the owlbears are in their home cave. I have never seen them drop from anywhere else.
