There is only one quest NPC for all caster classes. It is usuable by all Erudite caster classes. No different than the other races caster newbie armor quests.

They also combined the Cleric and Paladin quest armor into one for each class, which is contrary to how they handled other races cleric/paladin newbie quest armor (1 for each class AND diety). This is probably due in part to the small populace of Erudite Clerics and Paladins.

Are you sure about that, Xxyl? I've been given information for separate quests for Erudite Clerics and Pallies of Prexus.

It says one quest armor for each class. Thus, yes, there are indeed seperate cleric and paladin armor sets.

The difference with other races is that other races got one set per TEMPLE per class. For example, if you were a paladin in Qeynos, which set of armor you would be attempting would be based on whether you followed Karana or Rodcet Nife.

Instead, Paladins of Prexus and Quellious both use the same armor, and both get their armor kits from the Deepwater Knights.

Yeah positive. 3 newbie quest armor NPCs in all Erudin. 1 for Clerics (armor is called Divine {Quellious part} Protectors {Prexus part}), 1 for Casters (armor is called Craft Keepers which is actually the Enchie faction guild for Erudites but I guess it was difficult coming up with a name pertaining to all 3 class faction guilds lol), and 1 for Paladins (I'll get back to you with the name for this one cuz I forgot haha).

Sorry if what I said was confusing and Eumerin clarified it for me excellently, thanks Eumerin. Sorry if it sounded confusing.

I'm gonna post stats to every piece you haven't got them for in another thread including the pieces you can't get on live servers but can be completed on Test.

Okay, just checking. Thanks for the clarification.

I've got the newbie quests all completely updated now, based on the info I found here on the boards. New data is very much welcome, but please stick only to information off the Live servers, whereever possible. In some cases for important or hot new items, it's worth the extra updating to note once the new stuff off Test and then to go back and remove the Test Disclaimer when it goes Live, but I'm not sure this is one of those cases. There are too many other things to do right now for it to be worth double editing the newbie quests.

            Thanks

found a number of them on various kobolds wandering around in Tox. Only thing I still haven't found is a calcified ribcage, mostly 'cos the skeletons are still ****ably rare...

                      Giant Rat tooth dropped!

Confirming drop of the Giant Rat Tooth in Toxx by infected rat,
Tradeable, and fairly common, got mine after 2 kills!

Also confirming stats posted above by Zyntaxus on the INT caster robe +weight is 2.5

Needless to say the robe is also Magic, Lore and No Drop

I believe that calcified ribcages drop in Nektulos, for the shadowknight quests there. The two main camp spots are the monolith in SE zone corner, the ultricle in NW, and the wizard pyramid. There are a few other spawn points, which you really need sense the dead or track for.

They drop from greater skeletons and calcified skeletons, more from the greaters. And are extremely rare. Took me a month to get the drops for a DE SK.

Calcified bone drop rate is apparently better from skeletons in Toxx than from the Nek calcified skeletons...or so I heard from all the dark elves that were hunting there when I was farming stuff for my erudite necro on Stromm.
Itzena Alhazared, Revenant of {Planeteers}, Vallon Zek. And also a seamstress.
Gelcea Macha, Wandering Animist of Tarew Marr. Will be a smith, one day.

I just completed the Craftkeepers full set.

Calcified ribcage dropped from the first skeleton I killed in South Toxx (outside Paineel). I also saw a calcified ulna drop. Large wood spiders in the same general area drop the thorax commonly, and the femur slightly less commonly - I saw 3 in about 20 kills.

Spider venom drops commonly from large/giant widows. Woven spider silk is a pain to get (in Toxx), and dropped from widow hatchlings for me.

I also saw a kobold skull, and a kobold head - the latter dropped from a runt outside the big kobold camp, so I would guess that both can drop from any kobold.

The robe is a nice soft grey; the dagger (the text refers to his "walking stick", but it's a dagger) has the standard boring dagger graphic. I wish it was range as well, but it is primary only.

                                Erudin Paladin Armor

                                Didn't see a follow-up on this, so here's my 2¢...

Erudite Paladin Armor Quest is for Armor of the Sentinel - completed the set myself, including the nifty 2H sword, last week

Don't have all stats, but I do recall some nice buffs - will follow up with those when I log next (@ work now, so just posts for right now )

The entire outfit views as a nice, deep blue. Though it is named and divided like chain/plate, the armor looks like caster robes. (as per the elegant Erudin tradition)

Not a terribly hard quest, either. Completed on my newbie ERU PAL just as he cleared lvl 7. All the materials are in Toxx, including the elusive NO DROP Snake Bile; stackable (?!) (drops from Large Thistle Snakes... con yel/blue to me, even at lvl 7)

TIP: When you can, BUY the bricks o' bronze... HEAVY STUFF

Like most newbie quests, this can be started right next to the Erudin zone, but as you craft better pieces, you need to venture out across the river and into the south region.

The bridge is unguarded, but a shrewd player can get some good skill-ups in fishing during heals!

His name is Rolbath. Give a shout if you see him.
                                The Loot is Out There,

                                DEF NEC <10
