Shouldn't be a big problem with that group. Did it myself yesterday with 65 paladin, 65 druid, 65 wizard, 65 enchanter, 60something shaman, and 62 cleric.

When you're used to PoP mobs, stuff in SoV just doesn't hit hard. Chuck in a bit of kiting and it's cake.

One thing I would advise is for your chanter to use Tepid Deeds. You don't need the full power of Forlorn (though it doesn't hurt to use it when you can) and it's much easier to cast a 3 second spell than a 6 second one, after you get aggro from slowing mobs.
It's up to you, what you do will decide your own fate.
Make your choice now, for tomorrow may be far too late. -- Twisted Sister

I just wanted to say, "Thank you" to everyone who helped answer my questions about the 8th shawl escort. I completed my quest last night WOOOOOOOOT!!!! This is the force I took to help out:

      65 Magician (me)
      65 Warrior
      65 Necro
      64 Cleric
      64 Enchanter
      62 Magician
      59 Shaman
      58 Bard
      55 Beastlord

Axterix hit the nail on the head when he said, "When you're used to PoP mobs, stuff in SoV just doesn't hit hard." We completely owned the waves. Our warrior never dropped below 90% health and the giants and wolves dropped like rocks.

The only mishap we had was when the general accidentally stepped in front of our 62 mage's FBoT (2k+ dmg which took the general to ~65%). Luckily, once the general is mem-blurred he regens his health very quickly. Other than that scare, the general never dropped below 100% health.

Again, thank you all for your responses and good luck to anyone else attempting the quest, it was by far worth it!!!
