  • New Teas?

At the end of the Shar Vahl Tea Quest Ahlam tells you to inform him of any new teas you create. Has anyone tried handing him a Qeynos Afternoon Tea, or a Flask of Karana Brown Tea?

As a side note, I've been sitting in the Shar Vahl pit for over three weeks trying to find young rockhoppers for the Gravel Pit leaves. So far, I've found two, neither of which dropped a leaf. Am I doing something wrong, or is the spawn rate just incredibly low?

They spawn prolifically, when they spawn.

Spawns in the pit are cyclical, and some areas seem to give better returns than others. Just run around at a quiet time killing everything; few people kill the rhinobeetles, and so the entire pit can be overrun with them with very few other mobs around. It is possible that there might also be a time of day connection, as there seems to be for the worms and rockhoppers outside in Shadeweavers Thicket.

The quadrants under the north and south bridges seem to have the most young rockhoppers and xakra worms; unfortunately, I can't remember which is better for which.

I believe the Hollowshade bridge side has the most hoppers while the Shadeweavers has the most worms. If the latter isn't true I know the former is.

Thanks for the info, I've now happily moved on to collecting grimroots.
