Here's how I camped my Sacred Waters, I did it with 2 other people who also needed water, so we needed to get 9 total. I'd recommend a full group with a chanter or good rooter.

All waters killed dropped off "megaman" model mobs. Having done a little browsing on these boards, I found out that the "named" mobs in the camp had the worst drop rate, so we left them till last.

First we'd kill the 2 by zone in. Then we'd move to the bridge and kill the 2 on the near side (these were hard to split without CC, so we just used CC ), then the 2 on the far side, before returning to the 2 by the GY. While we waited them to repop, we'd pull the named. Once one of the GY 2 popped, then we'd repeat the cycle.

Doing this we got 7 waters in 2 hours. The following day we got 3 more in another hour and a half. Another guild group reported similar sucess using this method.

I'm gonna be camping them again at some stage, so I'll find out if it was a fluke or not, but my best advice is avoid those named ones if you can

Is there any faction (bad) killing these guys? Something to tell the folks that come to help if there is bad faction, might be a factor.

          Sacred Water

I did three sessions hunting just the 2 'Megaman' model mobs in the bldg next to the graveyard. Rootable/slowable/snareable/mezzable. Sitting inside the bldg looking out, it appeared that the one on the right was always immune to Pacification, the one on the left could always be Pacified (immaterial once spawn broken of course).

We also, rarely got a 'micro-armor' pop. Same model, just much smaller. This one was NOT slowable however, so we usually just promised buffs to a tank to come quickly help with a one-kill help. With this, the shaman and I were able to just go afk between pops and be nice and relaxed about the camp. For a 65 the mobs ranged from even to Yellow con (the one on the left was the sometimes even con, the one on the right was always Yellow). The duo-ing was basically on the third day to get the third water, went through quite a few mobs for that one. (sorry, lost count)

The other two days, was quite different, since I was not sure of mobs, I brought more firepower. On both nights, it was after server patch so these were the first mobs spawned. On both nights, I got a water on the first mob attacked (the Pac-immune one on the right). Then the group didn't see any more water after that first. First night was 1 for 12, second night was 1 for 8 (both were post-raid farmings so was already late).

Hope this info helps people get the Sacred Water they need.

Looks like I spent an afternoon killing the wrong critters.

I set up in the corner of the zone along the water (hugging the wall on the right from the zone in). I pulled the following named critters:

            Captain Ryglot Cupperhide
            Lieutenant Aiden Finn
            Sergeant Gerrin Bakeside
            Sergeant Johson Popoah
            Sergeant Sikfaun Bowah

And got 1 water in about 30 kills. These are all level 67 critters who quad for up to 700. None were snareable, and all but one would run when low on health.

It sounds like there were other "mega man" critters that are better to kill, the two at the zone line, and then some in the castle on the way to the wastelands?

I only ask since the tip from Grimel mentions tents and I kept every mega man in the tents cleared for 5 hours. I will try the first building near the zone line then the stuff at the bridge at the castle to see if things go better.

Very interesting info. Please post if you notice a difference in the drop rates from the different mega man models. I too camped the named in the tents, and it sure seemed to take a long time.

Hold on folks, you are taking evidence from one person camping the models next to the zone in (either can randomly be immune to pacification, BTW, just depends on level) and lending a bit too much weight to it.

ANY of the soldiers at either camp can drop the water (yes, I thought it was the megaman models only, but I talked to someone camping the tent camp before I got there and they swore that one of the ones that dropped came from a normal soldier). My crew pulled both sets (the megaman models in the camp and the 2 at the door near the zone in). The 2 at the door never dropped water, all three of mine came from the camp.

The Megaman in the tent to the left (facing from the zone line) (Popoah I think) will always come solo unless you pull him really weird-like. Can only assume they accidentally put him on the wrong faction or something. The other ones can be pulled using the 'train to zone and hail' method.

None of which changes the fact that needing this water is stupid and should be changed, or have the water made dropable. Every other item you need to do the quest is dropable, cept this. It's stupid.

Got 2 in 90 min this week.

Group was Mage, Shaman, Druid, Monk, SK.

Set up in the big building. Kill the 2 there. They sometimes drop water. Watch out for the small model "A Valorian Guardsman". Unslowable and they do pack a punch.

SK pull tents. Gets CoH once near zone in. Monk hail one to keep it there, SK comes back, pull in building. Rinse, repeat.

Got all mine from named, but we've seen some from guard too. If respawn is slow, we pulled the mob from the stairway to glass field too.

I killed the 4 guards 2 at either end of the bridge. they dropped the 3 waters rather quickly for me.
first kill got 1, then got another one after 2 cycles . had to leave for raid. but coming back. the 3 rd water dropped fairly quickly hmm 3 cycles of spawns.
if you are really quick you can kill these 4 guids and then the ones by the zone.

Dont bother with the named ones they are harder and drop it less frequently.

Yes, these are rare and the camp sucks. But, seriously, this is the warm-up camp. If you get discouraged by this one, you'll never make it through the sap for the tailoring stage.
The difference is that being in Fire, they are good XP, and they are "current" so it is a lot easier to convince people to camp them...who still goes to Valor for XP if they have Elemental access?

Obsidianwood Sap may be the rarer drop, but if you can't find people willing to endure the rather nightmarish Valor camp, then the waters may as well not drop, cause you aren't going to be getting any.

Just to add to what Aavar said, the bridge camp seemed quick and simple to me. Was there for a total of 2 hours and got 3 waters. Only seen the water drop from that specific model of mob in Valor, never from any other kind. Hope it helps!

I suspect the bridge area is the better spot, but it is also more vulernable to goobers pulling trains of undead, spiders, golems and the like.

I spent about 4 more hours doing the 2 near the zone, and the 5 other named mega men from the tents, and got my second water. It dropped from Lieutenant Aiden Finn, one of the level 67 named critters.

I am guessing that fighting in a train-heavy area for a much more likely drop will be what I do next.

Being stubborn, I kept hunting the tents and the building near the zone for my third water.

That small megaman that is unslowable is a nuissance to kill but I am able to tank it with about a 6 second complete heal rotation

All in all I spent about 15 hours getting my three waters, compared to 8 hours in plane of fire for 3 saps. One earring complete, back to valor soon

                                Thanks Wind

The other night I spent 5 hours working the tents and the 2 near the zone in and had two waters drop back to back from named critters -- my best guess is any mega man can drop it and you just need to get along with the RNG for this to happen quickly and easily.
