i could swear that when i did the 6th shawl like 8 months ago there was a workaround from collecting all the sirens hairs and stuff by using smithing instead..now i cant find any info on it..anyone remember this?

No more EQ for me till they fix the crash bug.

When the PoTC quest came out, the smithing subcombine for the fishing pole (sandalwood, velium bits) resulting in the no drop sacred coldain thread that was the same item for the 6th shawl. Later on that summer the combine formed a new item, a fishing spool, so the workaround was no longer available. (and no I didn't benefit from it - I kicked myself for a while that I didn't do it.)Distracted Druid Storm Warden of JinXed on Vazaelle
