MQing Secret of the Planes Manuals

Greetings,

I am helping a friend to get her Secret of the Planes. Since I once started this quest but never finished it, I have the Advanced Magic Manual in bank.... she has Hope Stone, and will have the other 2 manuals.

It seems by all sources this should be MQable, but I never found anyone who actually KNOWS.

So I wonder if there is any confirmation before we risk all that work.

a friend of mine just had his MQ'd. He had the 3 manuals and someone else had the hope stone.

Long time watcher first time poster.

I have a further question to this.

I was wondering if the gems for the third(advanced) books were tradeable? I bought the Symbol of the Diaku from a vendor(lucky find I guess) just wondering on the rest.

The gems for the 3rd one all drop in bot and are not tradable but i'd imagine they are MQable. Either way bot wasn't hard to get into and is even easier now.

Is a 'Hope diamond' (approx 5pp from a vendor, non-stackable) related to the quest?

No. The Hope Diamond drops in Dawnshroud from an optimistic stonegrabber, and is used for the Fine Antique Veil PoK quest (imp healing II veil).
