  • Shaman Shield from Gukta step 3 clue

    Step 3: (unsolved)
    Hail, Yun Trainer Kintok
Yun Trainer Kintok says 'You sure are rough on shields, arent you?! No matter, I am sure that I can reinforce the shield enough to get you a few more years out of it, but this wont be easy. I have been expecting a shipment of supplies that have not yet arrived. The shipment left Erudin last week, but I've not received it, and I fear the worst for my assistant. If you are [up to the task], I could certainly use you to research the problem, and in exchange for your services I will upgrade your shield one final time.'

You say "I am up to the task"
Yun Trainer Kintok says 'I thought you might be. As I said before, the shipment left out of Erudin last week sometime, and has not been seen or heard from since. As you well know, that boat could be anywhere from Erudin to Qeynos. Do what you can, and return to me when you have made some progress.'

Further details are not yet available regarding the continuation of this quest.

There's a "new" boat in Erud's Crossing that I found while looking for Seahorse Roe. It's pretty close to shore...either it's the same old boat with the zombie sailors or it's just nearby.

At any rate, there are 4 untargetable "a zombie guardian" inside the ship, and a swimming froglok apprentice inside. When Antoin hails him, he gets something to the effect of "well since I don't know if Kintok sent you, I might as well stay here, I could be going into the arms of my enemy"

At any rate, looks like this is definitely the boat.

Have you tried giving him the shield? Maybe he will recognize the handiwork of his boss.

The guy inside the boat in Erud's Crossing is indeed the next step of the quest. The captured froglok does look at your level much like several of the quests in PoK. I could do the quest as at level 34, but I think it could be done earlier. All four zombies were dk blue the one time I attempted the quest, but I don't recall them hitting very hard for their level. Unfortunately for me, I backed to far away from a couple of the sailors without realizing it, and they took to beating the tar out of the captured froglok and he died. Immediately after he died, the zombies despawned. The respawn time on them is more than 15 or 20 minutes, I got bored and wasn't sure if I could solo the 4 mobs anyway, so I left. I'm looking to hit 39 to solo it, or grab a buddy and duo it. Basically, if you can get a tank to stand where all 4 zombies hit him, they can all be slowed and demolished easily. Hope this helps
