Help with AkAnon good int caster newbie armor please

Can someone help me please, or tell me if I'm being stupid!!

I'm a level 7 gnome and I finally collected enough pieces to make my first piece of newbie armor and it won't combine. It's the sleeves, I have 2 Grikbar Kobold Fur, 2 Coyote Skulls the recipe and small cloth sleeves. All the pieces are in the Tinkered Sewing Kit individually. I've tried with and without the pattern. I wondered about the sleeves being small, but the write up on this site does say that it doesn't matter.

Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong?

small cloth sleeves never used to work, they had to be medium sized. Don't know if they ever changed that.

Zip over to Felwithe and get some medium cloth sleeves to try.

(assuming you have the items unstacked, and the original combine is in the assembly kit without the pattern).

Edit: sigh, 3 lines and 4 misspellings. that's kinda pathetic on my behalf.

Thanks for the info, I tried normal 'cloth sleeves' and they worked. I'm assuming the rest will work the same

Yep, only 'Cloth' Items work, not the small that you would expect for a small race.
