Qeynos Badge Bug?

I was doing the Qeynos Badge Quest.

I had good faction with the guards. I went and did the pate stuff. I got my Orders for Sergeant Caelin, that you are supposed to turn in to get the Writ of Execution.

When I handed it in, I lost the Orders! He said "I don't think I can trust you with that information." and somehow my faction was indifferent with him. I have no idea how this happened.

Now I'm stuck with a Marked Qeynos Badge and no way to the continue the quest, as far as I can tell. What do I do? I petitioned for help, but I doubt a GM will assist me. :/

Ack!

My guess is that the faction hit you took from killing the black panthers for liver dropped you to indifferent. Not sure that it would work but try giving Finewine another dryad pate to see if you can restart from there.

Hopefully a GM can give you back orders and then do some faction work to get back to amiable. (for some reason I thought you needed kindly for it, you may want to check some of the write-ups on the quest to double check).

Are you still indifferent or just when you did the turn in?

My chanter went from amiable to indifferent in the middle of the SoM quest - I had just conned Clurg and he was happy with me - in the five seconds it took to give him the stuff he became indifferent due to some bug and ate everything.
