  • Newbie warrior armor quest

I just started playing everquest a few days ago. I found out about this site and started the armor quest. I gathered what I thought was all the ingredients but for some reason i am not able to make my helmet. The only difference I have noticed is that the recipe called for 2 bricks of crude iron ore and i have 2 bricks of what is just called large brick of ore. If someone could tell me what I might be doing wrong, I would be grateful.

Which city did you get the quest from? And what is your class and race?

There happen to be many newbie armor quests, and they are different.

Bricks of Ore are vendor sold, the ore you need is Crude Ore, its dropped from MoBs around FP.

As I know it, it's a MUD term short for MOBile or Mobile OBject (as opposed to non-mobile objects), depending on who you ask.

Seek out Orcs in the East Commonlands for bricks of crude iron ore. Even the lowly orc pawns can drop them (not the Deathfist Pawns in the newbie yard, though).

Sorry, MoB means "Monstor or Beast." It describes almost all the creatures in EverQuest. And FP is Freeport if you don't know that one. I forget what it is like to not know terms.

First to reply on MoB is correct, it stands for "Mobile Object" not monster or beast, cute though.
