Firestrand Curing Agent (Obsidianwood Sap)

Posted this in the tailoring forum too--Okay, failed 3 times already on my robe for the aid grimmel earring (240 skill with mod). So, back to PoFire for more farming . . . or so I thought. 13 hours later, not so much as a single sap. Has anyone gotten one from the spiders near the zone in? I had a guildmate get one from the big field of yellow cons where all the armor dropping nameds spawn, but I haven't had to camp that area for the saps yet. Am I just monumentally unlucky? Or has VI stealth screwed us again. I don't think I've gotten one since the patch.
