Bors Wharhammer Planar Armor Quests Char Flags

Confirmed tonight. Flagged for Bastion of Thunder gets
Bors Wharhammer talking about the armors. He did not talk to me before
Bastion of Thunder access. He did start talking after. (Only other flag I have is POV/POS)

You talking about the ornate mold/pattern armor right? you might wanna recheck your data... Ive been wearing my Kizraks greaves of battle for about 3 weeks now, (got ornate mold from tactics of course).. and i got my BOT flag just the other day.... so i dont think BOT flag is required for this armor, sorry :P

He is not saying it's required, he's saying it lets you move on. I.e. the following I have confirmed as being enough 'experience in the planes' Bastion of Thunder, Crypt of Decay, Halls of Honor. I also believe Killing Terris Thule is enough though that's hard to determine for sure.

Updated the quest page to indicate that BoThunder has been confirmed as one of the flags that will trigger his speech (as well as Terris, which was confirmed a couple weeks ago).

Kicking this out of Data and into the Quests forum now, so that discussion can continue on which flag combinations work for this quest.

Is it necassary to have him talking to you or can you just hand him the (think I read 500pp) and recieve the kit and emblem?

I know some mobs have been known to give out quest items when they dont talk to you. Maybe this may be one of them. /shrug

Flags needed

I can't find the page if there is one where all the specific flags that you can have to trigger his speech is, someone mentioned crypt of decay in an earlier post on this thread. I'm flagged for crypt of decay and he will not talk to me, it's NOT one that works for triggering him.

I am flagged for PoV/PoS. I am not flagged for anything else. (/sigh) I am a 250 Brewer with GM trophy, and 181 smith. Yet he gives me the quest.

Are you flagged or you did the Grimror quest?
Maybe you need a real flag and not one of the "fake flags" from quests like this.

There seems to be a minimum level as well ...

I got my Cleric on my 2nd account flagged for HoH(even have MM kill ), Tactics, CoD ( including Bert ), Torment.

Since i have the necessary flags, its propably her level ... she is only 52. So whats the minimum Level anyone did this with?

HOH COD Hedge

I cant remember if I tried talking to him with my HOH and COD flags. I think I did and he still didnt talk to me.
In any case, I presently have HOH, COD, and completed flag for Terris lair or PON B.
He does talk to me now, but his speech is cut off.
I have bug reported this.

try using the phase "continue". That often happens with many of the quest mobs in PoP due to their long text speech and limited text entry space.

Furioso, perhaps you found that Bors merely responded to your hails, because today when I checked, (with only PoS/PoV flag) although he talked about armour when I hailed him, he told me I was too inexperienced in the planes to learn anything further.

Or maybe you have another flag?
