WL geonids -- anyone seen a shimmering since patch?

Before this Wednesday's patch, I was slowly but surely collecting unrefined gems from the geonids in WL, getting a shimmering pop every 10-12 geo spawns or so. A lot more than I needed of some, and not enough of others, but that's another story, never mind that for now.

Since Wednesday's patch, I've killed literally over a hundred geos without even seeing one shimmering geonid spawn. If I were seeing some, and just getting the wrong gems, that would be one thing, but I'm starting to get a little paranoid.

So my question is: has anyone seen a shimmering geonid since Wednesday's patch? I'm probably just being extremely unlucky, but...

Or is there some sort of trick to getting them to start spawning after a server restart?

Never mind...a shimmering popped 5 minutes after I posted. Apparently, all I needed to do was make a public nuisance of myself. :P

Didn't drop the gem I needed, but at least my faith that they weren't inadvertently removed is confirmed.

Was there for about 3 hours m'self.. could handle almost an entire spawn of one of the smaller side caves, but enough bragging
Got 4 Emeralds, 3 Diamonds, and a wopping 8 sapphres.. I got extra just so I wouldn't have to go back to that aweful place. This was right after the patch, so yes they are still there =P

Yeah, I actually ended up getting two more shimmerings in the next five spawns after the one I posted about above. Finally got the last gem I needed, dumped a couple grand on the velium hound fur I still needed, and in an orgy of combining, made all the armor.

Just need to do the walk now, trying to schedule it with my guild...
