Jewelry for 7th shawl

Hmmm... well after getting my jewelry skill up to the stated triv of 162 I tried the last but one combine for the shawl (the velium etched rune and the rune casing) and I failed... it is NOT triv at 162

Even when a item is trivial you can still fail. With that said I have not looked to see if the trivial was updated or not. But when I did mine the quest write up said Trivial at Jewel Craft 182 for the 7th shawl.

Sorry to hear you failed. Just remember that others have failed on shawl combines as well. So your not alone.

You never get the message that says you can not advance your skill further on a fail, SO the only way to check the trivial of an item is on a success.
