Having recently started a froglok shaman, I read the progressive shield quest with some interest. The description in the quests section ends with the notice that Yun Trainer Kintok is missing his apprentice somewhere near Erudin.
As it happens, the other day I was helping a shaman friend begin her epic quest. We traveled to Erud's Crossing to talk to Ooglyn and do the test of patience. Ooglyn is currently bugged so that she gets stuck on the pirate ship. While trying to figure out what was going on, we found a new setup inside the sunken ship.
There's now a froglok prisoner and four zombie guards. When my half-elf bard spoke to the froglok, he asked if we were from Kintok and he then figured out on his own that we were not. He gave us the cold shoulder after declaring that he was better off where he was than possibly delivering himself into the hands of an unknown enemy (that is, us).
Clearly, this is Kintok's apprentice and he's waiting for someone with a shield to show up and rescue him. I'll be trying it out as soon as my frog shaman is high enough to give it a go.
