Got my 8th Shawl this weekend. Had 23 people most 50+. We had 2 enchanters, 2 clerics. The rest a mix of classes.
I would most assuredly say that having an enchanter or two along is a must. You will get tons of adds from the wandering mobs in the zone. So you need to be prepared for this. We had two deaths both occurred at the last wave of giants.
I would say 15 to 20 is the minimum you would want to do this with. Simply due to the amount of adds that can be generated. We had no pathing problems with the general.
With the group of people I had it was not a cakewalk but not too dificult either. Was lots of fun and I look forward to helping others do this as well.
