Pure Enchanted Bar of Velium Trivial?

Anyone have any idea on how much lower than 250 the pure enchanted velium bar is? I haven't seen any discussion on it in any of the other forums and as it is part of the Aid Grimel quest, I came here.

Pure Enchanted Bar of Velium Trivial?

From what I saw it`s >250 , and I am 188 smithing atm. If it`s not restricted skill I`m going to try 20 times hoping I make 1. I will post stats on my tries if I do.

I've tried it at 250 and didn't recieve the trivial message though that was back around Jan/Feb I believe.

I tried to do this combination in PoK forges yesterday and got a DNC..

mabey im not useing the right hammer though..

.... i couldnt find a "Coldain Smithy Hammer " so i grabed a "Velium Smithing Hammer " am i stupid or did i not find the correct hammer...

Velium smithing hammer doesn't work. You have to use the coldain smithy hammer. To get it you have to do part of the ring quests in eastern wastes.

This is what the Aid Grimel writeup currently says on the subject:

You will need to head to Velious to gather some velium bars that are needed, and will also need to head to Eastern Wastes, locate Tain Hammerfrost, and do his quest in order to procure a Coldain Smithy Hammer.

How can that best be clarified? We don't have a writeup for that part of the rings because they don't involve tradeskills, or we could link to it. Would a link to Allakhazam suffice?
