  • Blunder on the 8th Shawl

    Hi everyone,

I just did my final combine and hand in for the 8th shawl last night! woohoo!

However, I left my expedition orders in a no rent bag and now they are lost

Is there an easy way to get them back without redoing the armor?

    Thanks in advance,

    Mizoto

And speak nicely to the GM.

Yes it may have been your fault, yes you should have been more careful. But they can check the logs, and they can confirm that you did infact do that turnin. Explain to the GM how it is a crucial part of an extreamly long quest, I think he/she would be happy to help you out.

I once deleted a bag with 7 pieces of my good equipment. GM replaced it after checking the logs.

But do it soon..... the quicker you can have a GM looking through the logs the better. And try to note down what time it was when you did the handin and when you logged.

I hope you get it back.... please update what happens so we know and can all sleep well after.

And for the love of Bob, EMAIL YOUR SERVER GM.

The link is on the EQ homepage.

            Thanks all for the advice

I have petitioned and spoke with a guide who has passed my request onto the GM queue.

about 17hrs so far and no response from GM yet.

I have also e-mailed my GM from the EQ website.

            I'll keep you posted!

Don't expect a speedy reply. As stated above, be sure to email your server GM and be as specific as possible about the exact time that you did the handin and logged off.

The general rule is that GMs hate going through the logs, Sony doesn't exactly pay them an executive salary. If you're polite and persistent and make the task as easy as possible for them, you might get lucky, but expect the process to take a week or two.

Got the item refunded to me today

Gave it back while I was a trader bot in the bazaar so I didn't even get to thank them!

                I'm so relieved...

shoot em another email...with all the complaints that they get, they probably like getting a thank you.

I sent like 30 thank you tells to a GM when I accidently destroyed my horse. (No glue either )
