Are trolls now SoL for Crown of Deceit?

Has the various changes to how illusions affect factions hosed trolls and other dark races (who have faction caps with frogs) from doing the Crown of Deceit quest anymore?

dont think so.

You should be able to get the Ghoul lord scalp if you woship an evil god. (your a sk correct? if so i assume you worship inny or cazic)

Illusion into another PLAYER race (ie any illusion of a playable race. but i assume they messed up froglok illusion cause its not a playable race) and it will still hide your race modifier

If your a troll sk worshipping inny turned into a wood elf you have the same faction as a dark elf sk worshipping inny turned into a wood elf

Im a de cleric worshipping inny. I guess i have a slight advantage over you (due to the fact that not many races innately hate cleric class because it would mess up faction for good and evil :P)

Few days ago i finally hit threateningly with the frogs (with scalp on in my TRUE dark elf form)

Oh and you can also buy an ornate velium pendant (drops off the councilmen in icewell). It costs 100ish plat to recharge on vendors (assuming you know someone with a fully charge one as they buy back for about 52 plat). They have 4 charges of alliance which is +100 faction points. 100 faction points isn't that much but here are the faction levels

BOTTOM to -750 scowling
-749 to -500 threateningly
-499 to -100 dubious
-99 to -1 apprehensive
0 to 99 indifferent
100 to 499 aimaible
500 to 749 kindly
750 to 1200ish warmly
1200ish+ ally

as you can see if you are close the necklace can make the difference

Faction changes only affected non-racial illusions.
