I recently transferred servers and must start over again on the Shawl quests (sigh) and was wondering if anyone had made a checklist of total items to collect, etc.

If not, I will probably whip one up and post it at some point.

Verdandi's walkthrorugh has checklists for each shawl, but not a "Here's everything you will ever need, period".

[ ] Give General Bragmur the Expedition Orders and do all the fighting and get neato drops until you reach gnome camp
[ ] Give the Avatar of Below your Runed Coldain Prayer Shawl (approved by the Dain version) and get your Blessed Shawl (don't forget to take his picture - he looks like a really tall Baramord Bryteeyes.)

I tried to calculate the skill level needed for the maximum success rate on combines for each shawl. This is based on a formula that Ishwar and Laurefin came up with at EQTraders and assumes that maximum success rate is 95%. (can't quite get the spacing right)

One correction though: I had nothing to do with finding the success rate formula. I know there was more than one person, including Ishwar and Laurefin, but I'm not sure they were the only ones.

Glad you like it - Verdandi did all the work, I just cut and pasted and did a little summarizing. And I see that I have a few missing trivials and some typos in there, so the disclaimer at the top is very very important. Always use Verdandi's walkthrough.

I'll try and clean it up a little and insert the things that I know are missing.

OK I put in a few trivials I was missing and split the lines that somehow got stuck together. It would be a very good idea for someone to proofread it a few times. I am sure I missed some more things, and really think the 8th needs to be reviewed a bit.

Not that I have ever done these quests, but I am almost 100% sure that manticore manes are not no drop, as I have seen them on vendors. Can anyone back me on this? (Just to erase one of the ?'s on the checklist.)

Thanks - you are right so I just fixed it and the Siren Hair is No Drop so that "?" was removed. Also changed the success rate calculation acknowledgement to Laurefin and Ishwar.

Since the final combine on the 7th shawl is >200 shouldn't that be in the header of the 7th shawl ? (Now it stated that you need tailoring 162).

I am there at this moment and was a bit surprised to see it at 162, because i am working very very hard to get my tailoring skill up. (177)
