My tailoring skill is now 157, and it took me 3 tries to get shawl 5 AND 3 tries to get shawl 6. (skill was 110s when I did my first combine at shawl 5, and increased it between each attempt).

thats why im getting tailoring to 200 before i even attempt this one, i dont care how long that takes it HAS to be faster and better in the long run than doing this twice

Even if you had 500k bank roll it'd take more time to gather the ingredients, imbune stuff and do subcombines, etc to hit 200 tailoring than it would to clear out the wurm caves enough times to get 5 more biles and loiter in Velks for the threads.
