Crown of Deceit

Hello all, fast question about this quest. I'm about to get warmly/ally with the frogloks of Guk and have everything but the crown. I do have a friend that has decided to give up the quest, he is ally and also has the reet crown. I was wondering if anyone know if we can MQ so I can get the crown? Basicly he would give in the reet crown and then I would give elf essence, vial of purified mana, and a velium mastodon fur cloak to The Old Frog. I would just like to know if anyone has done this or know of anyone that did it this way. Sure beats farming the reet crown in Seb. Thanks

if you are both the correct faction to do the quest, you should be fine.

warning, dont hang around between his turnin and yours, as the NPC despawns at a specific time (i am not sure when, just remember reading this somewhere)

Completed this last night! This is how I finished it:

I had a lvl 64 Enchanter with me and the Druid (who had the Reet Crown). The enchanter turned me into a frog. With max fraction I could get (Dark Elf and follower of Innoruuk) and looking like a toad I was able to talk to the "old frog". I had the druid turn in the crown and I then handed in the rest of the items. Worked like a champ!

Now I look like a half elf, and if I knew how ugly I would of looked I think I would of skipped the quest lol =/

what is the faction needed really to get this guy to talk to ya do ya need to be a frog?
been ae ing pulling in lguk for about 4 days still kos no sigh of the faction moving

It takes a long, long, long time...I did it mostly between exp and raiding...like when I had a hour or two. One thing I noticed. Frogs in Seb got you fraction faster then in Guk. It might just be me but I "felt" the fraction moving faster. The fraction here is MUCH worse then the Chardok ring quest where you have to kill Goblins all day. Hope that helps.
