Newbie Quest Armor error- Freeport Bard

Hey, just passing along a note to Niami or whoever's in charge of the quests on the website...

Under the Freeport Bard newbie armor quest, you have a part of the Songweavers Platemail Breastplate as "Darkweed Snake Bile". After busting her hide for four days trying to find it on a Darkweed, my sister found that Darkweeds do NOT drop snake bile- try regular old rattlesnakes in the Desert of Ro. So the correct ingredient is "Snake Bile", not "Darkweed Snake Bile". The Darkweed stuff doesn't exist.

Well, back into the breach for us, we've got more stuff to do- and if you're on EM, drop us a line!

where do i find info on the newbei armor quest is there one in halas are there any quest in halas?

The current newbie quests are listed at the bottom of the Quests Requiring Tradeskills page. If a city is not listed there (as Halas is not) then there are no newbie quests for it.

Yeah, unfortunately ALL large race and goodly Erudite races got the shaft in the newbie quest armor area. The only newbie quest armor that Barbarians have is for Beastlords (that actually goes for all large races and Beastlords). I don't think they would be listed here though because there really isn't any tradeskills involved in doing those quests.

The large races and the residents of Erudin are SUPPOSED to be getting newbie quest armor. The devs were kind enough once to list the order that the armor would be introduced in (Erudin is next), but there's been a very long delay since the last bunch of newbie quest armor went in (discounting the Frogloks).
Personally, I'm surprised that they didn't put the Troll armor in at the same time they moved the trolls. Would have made perfect sense, and probably would have been the perfect time to do it (especially as the spawns in Nektulos are already itemized for newbie quest armor).
