Price Check: Runed Sea Shell....?

I was up really late and made the tragic mistake of buying a **** runed sea shell with the "cloud" charge. Paid 700pp. Watta newb!

Anyway, I just lead a raid into SG last night and got everything else I need from that zone but the **** shell (thought I had it already, as you know). What would be a normal price range for it?

Please advise, and yes, I am kicking myself in the ass for it. And no, I will not try to screw someone else over by selling it again for 700pp (the wrong one that is)

I find them on vendors (both varieties) and I sell them in CT's bazaar for 500 each, they tend to go fairly quickly, so I could probably get more, but I'm against price gouging on general principles.

If I remember correctly, I paid 400pp on Bertoxx for my cleric's shell--that was a couple weeks ago. And don't think that shell is completely worthless--it's used for the 9th Coldain ring. Feel free to try to earn your 700pp back for it.

I paid 2,500pp this morning on Quellious. I actually got a deal. Normally goes for about 5k. Wish I could buy a swordfish tooth. :P

Wow - going price for both shells on Vazaelle has been pretty steady about 4kpp. And 2-4kpp for the royal Kromriff blood, 800-1000pp for a Molkor hide, 500+ pp for a velium hound fur. (I got some lucky deals and have some wonderful friends or I would still be trying to get parts for 7th.)

I think as a "newer" server (I think we had the lowest number of completed epics from that Fippy's facts) a lot more of folks are beginning to do the shawl now so prices for the few things we can purchase tend to be high.

My friend just got one FREE, from a friendly halfling druid (Ahem - me).
It dropped when i was exploring SG a week ago, I got the cloud one too, guess that will go to my rogue for his 9th ring when he does it.

I guess the difference in prices comes from if the seller has done his shawl or not. Those that have are willing to help out our tradeskill brothers and sisters, and those that dont do tradeskills like to grab all the plat they can get for items we need.

Ahh well thats just me being grumpy as usuall...
