LOY: Gukta wizard quest drops

Does anyone know for sure what mob drops a Larval Carapace, a Mosquito Carcass and a Larvae Skin?

These are not on vendors on my server, and I can't for the life of me get one. I even resorted to bringing in my druid jst to see what dropped it, and I can't figure it out.

illovich, I know by experience that the Mosquito Carcass is dropped by the Adult Bleeders. Not sue if by any other bleeder types. The Larval carapace and skins are dropped by the tough skinned larvae for sure, maybe by others too.

I can at least confirm the Mosquito Carcass exists, I found one on a merchant. I haven't seen the larval bits yet, though, but the Codex stats were posted over in the Data thread, so there's hope for that one at least.

The larva carapace drops off of the tough-skinned larvae. Its not really all that rare. If you've killed a dozen of them, you've probably seen one.
I haven't seen the others, although my warrior needs a larva skin for his newbie quest sword.
The problem with these drops is that the majority of the bleeder/larva skins/carapaces seem to be INCREDIBLY rare. I've killed a number of feral bleeders and seen exactly one malleable bleeder skin drop (I need one for each warrior bracer). And I've heard that they also drop bleeder carapaces, although I haven't seen one of those drop (I need two).
I did get a pristine bleeder item (can't remember if it was a skin or a carapace) off of an adult bleeder, but unfortunately, I don't need that...

lol, just goes to show the magic of the RNG.

I've killed about 2 dozen tough skins, no anything ever.

I've killed more bleedin bleeders than I can even guess. I've seen a couple bleeder carapaces, one bleeder wing and one maleable bleeder skin.

I've killed bunches of aligators and no spines. No nothing except pristine aligator hides off the bulls.

I would say the gukta quests are as bad for drop rate as the Felwithe Cleric (and others?) quests. Frustrating... most of what I have I got off merchants.

I've completed the entire quest for the Frog Newbie armour (see my post in the data section for stats), so I can confirm that everything that is asked for is exactly what you need. (It also means I've seen everything you need *grin*)

Several times I made a one-for-one trade with a rare drop I got for something I needed, so just OOC and ask around for those items that are hardest to find.
