Sonic Wolf-Bane Weapons (Vah Shir or MQ Citizens)

After 5 months of poking and proding at this quest I finallly got my Garrison cloak, which is pretty good though the Officer cloak looks very tempting.

My problem:
1) Get the officer's cloak and sacrifice 8 slots of bank room
2) Get the officer's cloak and destroy the box, losing any chance of getting the hero cloak
3) Wait untill I can get the manpoewer to do all 6 wars.

The first 3 are doable with the people I know and possibly the 4th, but I have my concerns about 5 and 6 seems out of reach.

There seems to be very little interest in this quest, at least on my server.

Dar Khura Officer's Cloak

I recently completed this portion of the quest and, in addittion to the collateral drops during the fights, which were also quite nice (especially for the 1-2 groups of level 30s who are the apropriate level for this quest), i was rewarded with.

Not bad for killing mobs that were all dark blue to a 32. . .

There are at least 2 further cloaks in the series, possibly more. When you turn in the bag of documents and cloak, you recieve the Officer's cloak, and a 2 slot bag in which you combine your officer cloak with the medal of the hero of shar vahl. the combined container is turned in for the next cloak, and then you must talk to the Sergeant in the building next to the general to continue the quest.

Can't find molars.

I camped the Sonic Cubs and Wolflings for a couple hours last night and never saw any wolf molars. Do these drop off of sonic wolves in a specific area only?

The Wolfbane quest pieces only drop from MoBs in their home area. If you need the molars you must camp near the Sonic Wolf cave or the Grimling Forest zone-line.

I believe the Molars drop from any sonic wolf in that area (I'm a shaman so I wasn't paying as much attention to Beastlord drops so I'm not positive).

That is not, in fact, true. Any wandering wolf or bear in hollowshade can drop the quest peices. The grimlings seem to only drop their peices when they are on the islands, apparently they are too lazy to pack up their rags, sand, ashes, dart felt, and salt when they move into the caves.

Doing this quest on Terris-Thule

If anyone is interested in doing this quest on Terris-Thule, give me a shout. My tailoring skill is steadily climbing and I hope to be able to get close to crafting this stuff in a week or so.

I succeeded on my combine on the first try. I now have my toughened sinew lashings! Now I need to find the other four pieces.

I've considered just making them myself with alts, but that could take some time.

Can anyone help me with the other parts of this quest on Terris-Thule?

I have my Garrison Cloak now.

Just have to take time from lvling to get the Officers cloak. Guild will sink the time when I decide to do this. But I think I am going to finish my Coldain Prayer Shawl first....

The "Time sink" for the officer's cloak, once you have the garrison cloak, is not likely to be more than 3 hours. The highest level mob is 30.
Tell your guildies to dust off their alts and get some xp and some decent (danged good for sub 30 mobs) drops.

Note also, you can stay at any camp until the scout dies or you despawn him, so as many people as want them can get the documents for one Sphere. You will need all three medals to do the next step, but you can get all the documents you need for Officer Cloaks in one round.
