Sonic Wolf-Bane Weapons (Vah Shir or MQ Citizens)

I am on the Povar Server and am having a bit of Difficulity getting my Sonic Wolf-Bane weapons for the progressive Vah Shir classes.

I cant find anyone to help me from all of the respective classes. Is this a problem on other servers also? I know that the Quests can be a touch time consuming but not near as bad as the Coldain Prayer Shawl Quest wich I am currently on the 5th and 1 item from having 3 full attempts for the 6th.

I have been lugging around this scra.. err I mean stuff since lvl 1, *looks at sig* And my character is almost a year old. Yea Yea Yea I move slow on lvling *I quest more than PL my characters so faults mine there* Finally I can continue this quest and clear some items and hopefully get to the end of it which is *Hero of Shar Val* The back Item is very nice and has a +% to the class doing it.

Beastlord - Tailoring

Warrior - Smithing
Shaman - Brewing
Bards - Pottery

I will be starting to do this AFTER I get to Ally on CoV Faction. I really Really want to turn in my Bracer and get the Savage Bracer from Skyshrine.

I play for fun, I enjoy the quests. I spent 2 months doing the Ghulam Armor quests before leaving Shadeweavers. Then I was working on the advanced Claw Quest. Till I realized that Umm at lvl 15 Im not going to complete even 1 of these raids in Grimmling. So I stuffed everything in the bank except the Moor drops and went on with other quests. Now I am currently in the middle of the Shawl Quest (Need to raise ALL my skills after I get the 6th one) and the SS Bracer Quests ( All time currently devoted to Kael for Faction ) After I get 6 and the Bracer I am going to start in on the Claws again. Hopefully by the end of January I will have the 6th Shawl the SS Bracer and be working on the 3rd or 4th Garrison Quests, *Note to self: Some where in here I need to complete my Epic*

Since this topic has popped up again, does anyone know of someone who has completed the war, killed the Grimling High Commander to obtain the Medallion of the Hero of Shar Vahl and combined it in the Security Satchel with their Officer's Cloak?
If so, what is the cloak called and what are the stats? Or if it's not a cloak, what is it? I can't find any info anywhere that anyone has done this.
If you know of someone somewhere that has, please let me know where to look. Thanks!

I'm doing the quest for my kitty bard.

I made some alts to do quest other classes.
Now, every quest is up to final stage.

Bard, rogue made their wolfbane component.
Shaman is 135 brewing and is looking for missing component (can't find ground spawn for crystalized ygri root, if anyone has a loc...)
Beastlord and Warrior need to practice skills.

About the only guild I know of that has done the final war (well, a LOT of times) is Ring of Valor. The war with the high commander is needed for the key to get into the castle in Acrylia Caverns, and every member of your guild needs their own key. Some real nice (in my opinion) items drop as part of that war.

They're near the sonic wolf caves allright but scattered a bit widely, not necessarily right by the caves (there was one spawn near the bridge, I think, for example). Looks like a dark lump on the ground as I recall.

Crystalized Ygri root spawns at pos 850 neg 2650 in hollowshade. looks like hollow palm root, grimroot, and most of the other ground spawns in the Moor. incidently, the brewing quests are a great way to get your skill up for the sealant soak combine, right now i'm 6/6 at 162 (and got my spear, YAY!)

Supposedly these are the stats for the cloak that comes after the Officer cloak, although the person that posted them admitted that he used a hack to get the stats.

Almost there

So I have all five toons at a point in the quest where they can make the stuff, and the last patch means that Holowshade has re-popped, meaning I can get the final supplies from the grimlings there. I think that I might finally be able to finish this quest. The MQ aspect is nice, it has allowed me to do this quest with mt 10th Orge Warrior, 8th Gnome Rogue, 11th Vah Shir Bard, 42nd Barbarian Shaman, and the point of all this, my 23rd Vah Shir Beastlord. And in the process of finishing all the quest, I even collected the parts to finish the next part of the quest for my beastlord.
