New Brewing Quest in Gukta

There is a newbie quest in the the new Froglok town of Gukta (Formerly Grobb) that involves brewing. If you go into the back of the Watering Hole there you'll find a merchant named Zok Crikk. It seems that Crikk developed a taste for some of the Troll brews that were left in town after the Frogloks drove them out, but his supply ran out. If you give him a Bog Juice he'll reward you with a small amount of experience.

There's no faction boost or other reward for this quest, however.

It's possible that the quests in Gukta are being bugged by all the changes taking place in that zone recently.

On the positive side, this quest (if it isn't currently broken) can be completed entirely within the city of Gukta/Grobb. Merchants in the town carry all the supplies needed to make Bog Juice, and the brew barrel is up and running in the bar there.

I forwarded it to Niami and she's elected to wait and see if this gets altered, any new rewards added, etc, before adding it to the site.

All the Gukta quests are currently non-activated. You can speak the scripts and do the turn ins but you get nothing in return....yet. I lost 6 pelts trying for the upgrade to HQ but oh well. It's good just to know that they will be activated on Feb 24th.

edit: Boo! Hiss!! I used rockhopper hides and they don't work apparently. Seems it might be restricted to old world pelts.

I got plus gukta fac hits for turning in bonechips to the collector froglok, so that one is working.
