I've searched here and at Alla's, but I cannot find any info on a quest involving a:

Platinum Trio Ring

Does anyone remember what this old quest could be?

Hmmm, I assume you're asking because you see a QUEST flag.

If it was ever in a quest, I would guess one of the tests for a jewelry trophy, though I would have expected a Platinum Practice Ring. I know of no such quest. It would be from Secrets of Faydwer or later, since trio rings were introduced with that expansion. Eron's jewrly doesn't use a Platinum Trio Ring. You've got me.

I do not know of any quest for one.

I thought the solo, duo, trio things came along in PoR. Least that is where the original ones came around then it was changed again later, maybe with SoF, to the current system.

Actually, not because of a quest flag, but a friend was having me make them for him. He was the one who told me he was using them in a quest.
