Veritable QuandaryI believe Ngreth stated elsewhere that he did not have time to create one this time, but there were a few new recipes including the Drink of Timeless Energy, Gnomish Escape Rocket, Fizzlesprocket's Forceful Discharging Apparatus, & Gnomework Survival Suit among them. Also a new set of crafted weapons & augments to go along with them, and lot of old spells added to the research system along with the introduction of tome research & research for all classes.

There were lots of other changes too, the powersources for pottery compartmented jewelry, a new jewelry crafting metal, and many more.

A large set of Absinth(e) brewing recipes including the new drink.
Pottery, Tailoring, Fletching, Jewelrycraft, and Smithing all have parts in crafting new weapons.
Pottery can now make all the different powersources.
Jewelrycraft got a new metal and the compartmentalized options.
Research got a huge addition not just in spells up through TSS but also in Priest, Hybrid, and Melee tome researching added.
Alchemy got another level of potions for most sets.
Tinkering got a few new toys to play with or blow themselves up with, not sure what gnomes do.
There is a lot to do in this expansion for tradeskillers.
Also, if you look at the history, the large tradeskill quests came in Velious, PoP, PoR, and SoD...it takes a few expansions before we really need another big tradeskill quest.
