Black Smithing Trophy

The quests involving the Trophy are terrible. Been farming Windstones and essence of wind now for over 2 hours and only 1 essence cause no on in baz has any for sale to make the Acryila Chain gear. Please help. Info adivce. Anything

Essence of Wind is best to farm, at least from my experience, in Twilight Sea. You port in and you are on the island with all the elementals and, yeah, its the air elementals, that drop the Essence of Wind.

Yep, swim through the tunnel and slaughter the aliens in the hidden valley. Blue ones can drop essence of wind.

Ten Mts also has aliens that drop it, but there are tons more targets in TS. Windstones drop well from grimlings at the bottom of the caves in Grimling Forest right at the zone line to AC.

I see windstones all the time on vendors in POK/Lobby/Bazaar. The common areas so when I was working on this part and needed them, it was the essence of wind that I couldn't find and had to go farm.

I had more problems getting the windstones since you need two of em.I did alot of farming in TM from the blue aliens.

I was farming the grimlings for 2 hours strait, and looted a whopping single Windstone. Grieg's End yielded 8 or so in 3 hours.

I am not too familiar with trophy...can I get all the items i need...B4 I get the quest?...Or do I need to loot the drops while I have trophy?

The quest requires you to make the combine and hand the final product in to the judge.

You can loot them ahead of time. The quest only requires you make the items. That applies to all the trophy quests (none have loot requirements).

Sometimes going up a level is easier, but most of the time it is much easier to complete the trophies earlier than later (but a lot of the may depend on your ability to farm items and current items you have stashed).

For me windstones and essence of wind are not a problem as I can farm them easily, but that is not always the case. Also, if someone you know is doing the quest, maybe you could team up to farm. Also there is always the option to set up a buyer in the bazaar to get the items you need.

I believe that the Air elementals near drakes in Sunderock Spring, near the Mage spells NPC, may drop Essence of Wind, I used to find some on the mage spell vendor and the otehr merchants at the base camp, from time to time...

Let me know if I am on the right track...I can let someone else get me all the drops, but I have to do combines, I have to create the item...OR...is it, All I have to do are the turn in's?...

Also...is there a shopping list of some sort for the different tiers?...

There are no parts that are no drop so someone else could farm you all the components, but you still have to do the combines. The task requires you to make the combine and then turn in the results.

Look at the page with the smithing trophies and it should have a quick outline setup (item = components to make) so that you could get a list, but I do not think anyone has taken the time to say, you need X of item_01, Y of item_02.
