I totally agree with the poster. They should do something to keep the effort and reward in line for these types of quests. Unlike drops in zones that become obsolete, these require a lot of effort. And pp.

People who just get a drop are generally there for the exp, and the drop is a lucky little bonus. They can sell the item in many cases for pp when they upgrade it. They got it in good part because of luck. Its apples and oranges to try to make it the same as TS quests.

People who do tradeskill quests are not in the same category when considering whether their "trophies" should languish--or at least, they shouldn't be.

A simple solution--do the same thing as was done with the Epic 1.0. You can turn in the item you got in the previous tradeskill quest to start the next one, and those without that item have a significant (because the original was so involved) amount of extra stuff to do to get the quest going.

Oh yes, can't forget this important point! Make it all no more than groupable. Enough already with giving all the major rewards and most uber stuff to raiders. Making a part of any quest raid-only makes the whole quest raid-only. That should be a no-brainer.

I like raiding, but its totally wrong to give raiders primacy in tradeskilling. Tradeskills should be for non-raiders, or raiders who also group, only.

Grouping is the primary focus of the game? Then reward the groupers accordingly please. Words are cheap. Rewards say which behavior is to be encouraged. Grouping keeps people in game better than raiding, but groupers are getting the message that raiding is where its at, and so groups become hard to fine. Turn this around please.

    Thats my opinion.
