Well I just completed my 8th shawl war; finally it's all done. We surprisingly didn't have any problems with the general. Had most of the raid force, who was KoS, follow behind the general at a safe distance, and they would engage the mobs as they popped along the general's path. Then the general would aggro on the kos people, FDer (who was non-kos which was nice) would pull the general away and we would mem blur. Worked surprisingly well. No bugs or anything in his pathing over the lily pads. Whew

Yeah, its not that bad...I lead a raid for someone else's shawl (almost done with mine, but not yet =) ) and we had half the force KOS. So when mobs would pop, id tash and run away with the General. Arcane Rune made it easy. Then mem blur/atone and hes off and running =)
